Special Diwali Train: Mysuru To Mangaluru Via Bengaluru, Connecting The Tri-Cities
To assist festive season travelers, the South Western Railway (SWR) will operate a Deepavali special train between Mysuru and Mangaluru Junction via Bengaluru City. The train is scheduled to stop at Mandya, Kengeri, KSR Bengaluru, Yeshwantpur, Nelamangala, Kunigal, Shravanabelagola, Channarayapatna, Hassan, Sakleshpur, Subrahmanya Road, Kabaka Puttur, and Bantwal.
As outlined in the SWR notice, train number 07303 will depart from Mysuru at 8:30 pm on November 10, reaching Bengaluru at 11:30 pm. Subsequently, the train is scheduled to arrive at Mangaluru Junction at 9:40 am on November 11. The return journey, designated as train number 07304, will depart from Mangaluru Junction at 5:15 pm on November 14, reaching Bengaluru at 3:45 am, and concluding at Mysuru at 7:30 am on November 15.

The special train comprises one first-class cum 2-Tier AC coach, seven 3-Tier AC coaches, eight sleeper class coaches, two general second-class coaches, and two luggage cum brake van coaches. Ticket booking for this special service has commenced.

- Nagercoil to Bengaluru: Southern Railway announced a special train, number 06083, operating from Nagercoil every Tuesday for three weeks, departing at 7:35 pm on November 7, 14, and 21, reaching Bengaluru at 12:30 pm the next day. Train number 06084 will run from Bengaluru on Wednesdays for three weeks, on November 8, 15, and 22, departing at 2:15 pm and reaching Nagercoil at 6:10 am the following day.
- Bhagat Ki Kothi (Rajasthan) to Bengaluru: Train number 04813 will depart from Bhagat Ki Kothi station at 5:15 am on Saturdays and Mondays from November 11 to December 4, reaching SMVT Bengaluru at 11:30 pm the next day. From Bengaluru, train number 04814 will leave SMVT at 4:30 pm every Monday and Wednesday from November 13 to December 6, reaching Bhagat Ki Kothi at 12:40 pm on the third day.
- Bhubaneswar to Bengaluru: Train number 06287 will depart from SMVT Bengaluru at 4 am on November 10, reaching Bhubaneswar New at 6:30 am the next day. Train number 06288 will leave Bhubaneswar New at 8:15 am on November 11, reaching SMVT Bengaluru at 10 am the next day.
