Leopard Spotted In Bengaluru: Wild Cat Crosses Flyover Near Toll Plaza In Electronic City
A leopard was sighted in Bengaluru early this morning as it crossed a flyover near a toll plaza in Electronic City, a key tech hub. The animal was spotted at 3:00 am, triggering a high alert in the area.
The leopard's movements were captured on CCTV at the Phase 1 toll plaza, where the wild cat can be seen briefly crossing the road before running back. It reportedly moved from the Panak India Company area to the Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) grounds.

This isn't the first recent leopard sighting in Bengaluru. Just weeks ago, a leopard was seen in the Jigani area, and authorities suspect it may be the same animal.
Sunil Joshi, Principal of NTTF, stated, "We received footage from the toll gate camera showing the leopard near our compound wall. Precautionary checks were carried out on campus, and forest department officials confirmed no leopard was present. The camera image indicated it moved from the compound, so we took necessary precautions as this is a training center."
"We inspected all rooms and CCTV footage, but so far, there's no further sign of the leopard. It was seen near the pathway next to the compound, but its current location remains unknown," he added.
Despite the sighting, the institute has resumed classes after implementing safety measures.
