Infosys Offers Up To Rs 8 Lakh To Employees For Relocating To Hubbali Campus
Infosys, India's second-largest IT company, has introduced an attractive transfer policy aimed at encouraging its employees to relocate to its Hubballi development centre in Karnataka. This move is part of Infosys's strategy to strengthen its operations in the tier-2 city and optimise the use of its modern infrastructure there.
The policy is designed for employees at band 2 and above, who are currently managing project deliveries from any of Infosys' development centres across India. The company has communicated the details of this policy via an email to its employees, as reported by the Economic Times.

For employees who are Band 3 and below, the initial relocation allowance would be Rs 25,000. This will be followed by an additional allowance: of Rs 25,000 every six months for two years. The total Incentive here would be Rs 1.25 lakh in over 24 months
For employees who are Bands 4 through 7, the total incentive will be up to Rs 8 lakh, inclusive of the initial relocation allowance, by the end of the same two-year period.
The policy aims to attract employees, particularly from the Mumbai-Karnataka region, to explore career opportunities in Hubballi. Employees will have the option to continue working on their current projects from Hubballi, ensuring a seamless transition and project continuity. By relocating operations to Hubballi, Infosys aims to leverage the city's modern infrastructure, potentially reducing operational costs.
This initiative underscores Infosys's commitment to enhancing its regional presence and offering substantial financial incentives to ensure the successful relocation of its workforce.
