Hubli cops arrest 3, recover Rs 23 lakh unaccounted cash
Out of the seized cash, Rs 20 lakh was in new Rs 2,000 currency notes and the rest in Rs 100 denominations
The Hubli police have detained three person after incepting a vehicle that was carrying unaccounted cash worth Rs 23 lakh.
Out of the seized cash, Rs 20 lakh was in new Rs 2,000 currency notes and the rest in Rs 100 denominations. The trio is accused of transporting the money without documentation to Gadag district in Karnataka.

Night policemen have been checking vehicles at various points since demonetisation and the vehicle carrying the money was intercepted at Kundagola town.
