Father Bush released from hospital, Indian channel tweets son Bush's photo

Bengaluru, Dec 31: Former US president George HW Bush was released from a hospital in Houston on Tuesday after a weeklong stay caused by breathing difficulties, his spokesman said. Bush, who was the president between 1989 and 1993, is 90-year-old.

"President Bush was released from the Houston Methodist Hospital today," spokesman Jim McGrath said in a statement.

However, an Indian news channel committed a goof-up by tweeting a photo of George W Bush, the senior Bush's son and also a former American president along with the news.

Kurukshetra MP Naveen Jindal, along with many others, replied to the tweet and corrected the mistake.
