Fire Breaks Out In Two Coaches Of Udyan Express At Bengaluru Railway Station
A fire broke out in two coaches of the Udyan Express train at the Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna (KSR) Railway Station in Bengaluru on Saturday morning.
The fire caused significant plumes of smoke, but firefighters quickly arrived and extinguished it. There were no injuries reported.

The incident involved train number 11301, Udayan Express, which arrived at KSR Railway Station at 5:45 am. While stationed at platform number 3, smoke was observed in two coaches around 7:10 am. Fire officials were promptly notified and managed to put out the blaze within minutes.
The B1 and B2 coaches of the train were affected by the fire, causing panic among passengers awaiting other trains at the station. The smoke was even visible at the Majestic Bus Stand.

According to South Western Railway PRO Aneesh Hegde, "Train number 11301 Udyan Express arrived at KSR Bengaluru at 05.45 Hrs on Platform No. 3. At around 07.10 am smoke in B1 and B2 coaches was noticed, and immediately the fire brigade was informed. The fire brigade arrived around 7:35 AM and extinguished the fire. The cause of the smoke is under investigation. No injury/casualty of any passenger."
Both Railway police and senior officials swiftly arrived at the scene to assess the situation.
