The Bengaluru police are still searching for Renuka Swamy's missing mobile phone, a crucial piece of evidence in the murder case. The phone contains an apology video related to obscene comments sent to Pavithra Gowda. This video was shot on Renuka Swamy's phone by Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa and his gang. Despite extensive searches, the police have yet to recover the phone, leading to suspicions that it may have been dumped in a drainage near the Sumanahalli Bridge.

The police have searched multiple locations, including the last known signal location of the phone near the stormwater drain near Sumanahalli Bridge, where Renuka Swamy's body was discovered. Municipal workers were brought in to search the drain, but after an unsuccessful search, they were forced to halt the operation.

The police are keen to recover the phone as it contains an apology video related to obscene comments made by Kannada actor and his gang. The video was allegedly recorded on Renuka Swamy's phone before his murder. The police have already searched several locations, including RR Nagar, Pattangere Shed, and Ravi's car, but so far, there is no sign of the phone.

The events leading up to the murder are still shrouded in mystery.

On June 8, Renuka Swamy was allegedly kidnapped from Chitradurga and brought to Bengaluru. He was later murdered at Pattangere Shed and his body was dumped near the stormwater drain near Sattva Apartment in Sumanahalli. Accused Keshav, Karthik, and Nikhil Naik dumped Renuka Swamy's dead body late on the same day. The body was disposed of in the Rajkaluve in front of Sattva Apartment in Sumanahalli. Later, Keshav, Karthik, Nikhil Naik, and Raghavendra surrendered at the Kamakshipalya police station. During the police interrogation, it was revealed that Renuka Swamy's mobile had been thrown into the Sumanahalli Raja Canal.

The accused surrendered to the Kamakshipalya police station soon after and confessed to throwing Renuka Swamy's phone into the stormwater drain.

10 Mobiles Seized from the D Gang; Refusal to Give Passwords

The police have intensified their investigation into the Renuka Swamy murder case. However, Darshan and his gang are refusing to provide the mobile passwords during interrogation, which is hindering the police investigation. So far, the police have seized 10 mobiles from Darshan and his gang. They are currently awaiting the data report.
