Heart Attack Claims Life Of 8-Year-Old Tejaswini At School In Chamarajanagar
In a distressing turn of events at Saint Francis School located in Chamarajanagar, an 8-year-old student named Tejaswini succumbed to a heart attack. This unfortunate incident has highlighted a worrying trend where heart attacks, traditionally associated with older age groups, are now occurring in the young. Tejaswini, a third grader from the village of Badanaguppe, was with her friends on the school premises when she suddenly collapsed. Despite immediate efforts to rush her to a private hospital within the city, Tejaswini passed away due to the heart attack before any medical intervention could save her.
Following the tragic incident, the Block Education Officer (BEO) of Chamarajanagar, Hanumanthasetty, made a visit to the school to gather information and assess the situation firsthand. He received detailed accounts from both the school staff and the attending doctors. In his interaction with the media, Hanumanthasetty shared that Tejaswini, the daughter of Lingaraju and Shruti, experienced a sudden collapse in the school verandah. Despite being quickly taken to the hospital for emergency treatment, the young girl could not be revived and was declared dead due to a heart attack.

This heartbreaking incident serves as a stark reminder of the changing dynamics of health concerns, underscoring the fact that heart attacks are no longer a condition only affecting the elderly. The loss of such a young life in such unexpected circumstances has shaken the local community and raised concerns about the health and safety of the younger population.
The death of Tejaswini from a heart attack at such a tender age is not only a personal tragedy for her family and the school community but also a wake-up call for society at large. It highlights the need for increased awareness and preventive measures to safeguard the health of the younger generation.
