Bengaluru Traffic Jam: NICE Road Jammed As Driver Leaves Container Truck In Middle of Road In Electronic City

An undated video capturing a massive traffic jam in Bengaluru's Electronic City has gone viral on social media, highlighting a road rage incident that has brought the city's traffic woes to the forefront. The video, which depicts chaos on the roads, shows frustrated commuters stuck in the jam as people are seen coming out of their vehicles, trying to navigate the gridlock.

According to the individual who recorded the video, the incident was triggered by a confrontation between the police and a container truck driver.

Traffic Jam

The person narrating the video told that the police officer allegedly took ₹2000 from the driver of a container truck before hitting him. In retaliation, the incensed driver parked his truck in the middle of the road, creating a massive traffic jam, and then fled the scene, taking the vehicle's keys with him.

The incident reportedly took place near White Feather Electronics City Phase 1 in Electronic City, Beratena Agrahara.

Eyewitnesses suggest that the traffic jam extended all the way to Chandapura and Bommasandra, severely affecting the flow of vehicles in the area.

The person who captured the video further revealed that he had parked his vehicle on NICE Road as he was on his way to Hosahalli to pick up a passenger. He further mentioned that the situation on the roads was chaotic, with the long traffic jam hindering movement for miles.

Authorities have yet to officially comment on the incident or verify the claims made in the viral video. However, the video has sparked concerns among commuters about traffic management and the possibility of rising tensions between drivers and law enforcement officials in the city.

As the video continues to circulate, social media users have responded with a mix of disbelief and anger, calling for accountability from both the police and the driver. Memes and comments delving into the absurdity of the situation have proliferated, with many emphasizing the need for better traffic management.
