The young woman, who resides in Whitefield, claimed that the driver's reckless driving resulted in her hospitalization.

She booked the ride from Brookfield to Marathahalli multiplex on Outer Ring Road. Fortunately, she only sustained minor injuries due to the high-quality helmet provided by the rider.

Rapido Ride Accident Details and Aftermath

Google techie explained that the driver was speeding and not adhering to traffic rules. At Kadubeesanahalli on Outer Ring Road, he suddenly turned into a service lane without using an indicator. A car then hit the scooter, causing both riders to fall onto the road.

The driver allegedly ended the trip and fled the scene, as reported by Hindustan Times. The car driver involved in the accident assisted her. She wrote, "He was a very nice and sweet guy. He kept apologising. He even gave me his slippers as I was wearing heels and couldn't properly walk in them." She shared a photo of her injured leg on social media.

The Google engineer emphasized that there is no excuse for rash driving, adding that the accident could have been fatal. She expressed gratitude for the good quality helmet provided by the rider, which protected her head during the incident. She also mentioned her relief that no other vehicles hit her when she fell onto the busy Outer Ring Road.

The woman filed a complaint with Rapido about the incident and plans to file an insurance claim as advised by their customer care team. She warned others against booking two-wheelers due to reckless driving habits often exhibited by bike riders: "I don't have anything against Rapido, but I'd advise everyone to avoid booking two-wheelers if they love their life."
