Bengaluru Bomb Threat: At Least 40 Private Schools Targeted, Police Launch Citywide Search
At least 40 private schools in Bengaluru were targeted with bomb threat emails, leading to a significant police response on Friday morning. The threats affected schools in areas such as Rajarajeshwari Nagar and Kengeri. The Bengaluru City Police quickly dispatched teams to the schools, and Bomb Disposal Squad personnel conducted thorough checks to ensure the safety of students and staff.
The alarming email was sent from the address [email protected]. It claimed that multiple explosive devices containing trinitrotoluene (TNT) were hidden in classrooms. The sender threatened, "The explosives are skillfully hidden, in black plastic bags. I will erase every last one of you from this world. Not a single soul will survive. I will gladly laugh when I will watch the news, only to see the parents show up at the school and to be greeted by the cold, dismembered bodies of their children."

Police Response and Investigation
Following the receipt of these threats, police teams were deployed across the city to manage the situation. Bomb Disposal Squads were actively involved in inspecting school premises for any potential dangers. The authorities are working diligently to trace the source of these threatening emails.
The email also contained disturbing personal confessions from the sender. It read: "You all deserve to suffer. I truly hate my life, I will commit suicide after the news kick in. I will slit my throat and slit my wrists. I was never truly helped, psychiatrists, psychologists, no one has ever cared and no one will ever care. You only care about medicating the helpless and clueless humans.. . Please give a copy of the message to the press/media."
Impact on Schools
The bomb threats caused widespread panic among students, parents, and school staff across Bengaluru. Authorities took immediate action to secure all affected locations while ensuring minimal disruption to educational activities.
As investigations continue, police are focusing on identifying who is behind these emails. They aim to ensure that such incidents do not occur again in future.
The situation remains tense as law enforcement agencies work tirelessly to resolve this matter swiftly and safely for everyone involved.
