Bengaluru Biker, Involved In Brawl With IAF Officer, Issues Clarification Video: 'Won't Let This Go' | WATCH
A Bengaluru man involved in a road rage incident with an Indian Air Force officer has posted a video statement accusing the officer of lodging a false complaint and stressing that he "won't let this go".
Vikas Kumar, who works as a team leader at a software company's call centre, was granted bail after a fresh video showed Wing Commander Shiladitya Bose assaulting him.

Earlier, the officer had claimed he did not retaliate and referenced a language issue, saying the biker told him, "This is Kannada land".
A video of the officer with a bloodied face went viral, sparking outrage, but a CCTV video revealed the officer kicking and punching Vikas, contradicting his previous claims. Police have clarified that it was a road rage incident, not a language issue.
Vikas expressed concern about his job in his video, stating, "The cops have assured me this won't affect my job, but based on my conversation with the Human Resources team, it seems I might lose my job. But I won't let this go. The Air Force Wing Commander used the language issue and filed a false complaint. He was the one who attacked me."
Vikas, who speaks six languages including Kannada, English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, explained, "I need to know many languages to survive in Bengaluru, but he (the officer) filed a false case."
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah condemned the incident, stating it had "hurt the self-respect of Kannadigas".
He stressed that Kannadigas are proud of their language and culture, and that such behaviour was inconsistent with the state's values.
The Chief Minister ordered the Police Commissioner to take appropriate legal action against the culprits, regardless of their position.
In his video, Vikas thanked the Chief Minister, pro-Kannada organisations, and the police for their support. Initially, the police had registered a case based on a complaint from the officer's wife, Squadron Leader Madhumita Dutta, for grievous hurt. However, after the new video emerged, an attempt to murder charge was added against Wing Commander Bose.
The Air Force officer had earlier claimed in a video that a biker had verbally abused him and his wife, and when he stepped out of the car, the biker attacked him with a stone, leaving him injured.
The officer's account, however, sparked outrage, with many recalling incidents where migrants in Karnataka had faced harassment for not speaking Kannada.
A new video surfaced, showing the Air Force officer assaulting Vikas, prompting police to confirm it was a case of road rage and not a language-related dispute.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (East), Devraj D, explained, "This is a case of road rage. An altercation took place, and both sides attacked each other... His (Air Force officer's) wife was driving, and he was seated beside her. An altercation broke out between the couple and a bike rider." He added, "We have ample video evidence and will proceed with the investigation."
The Air Force has described the incident as "unfortunate" and stated that it is cooperating with local authorities in the investigation.
"An unfortunate incident, involving an IAF officer, took place in Bengaluru yesterday. The IAF is assisting the local authorities in investigating and following up the case to its lawful resolution," it said.
