Ammonia leak in China kills 15 and injures many others
The accident took place at the Shanghai Weng Pai Cold Storage Industrial Co refrigeration unit in Baoshan District, the municipal government announced in a posting via its official account on Sina Weibo, the Chinese Twitter, sate-run Xinhua news agency reported.
The company is engaged in the import and export, storage and processing of aquatic products.
Photos on the website of a local newspaper showed fire trucks at the scene with hoses on the ground.More details are awaited about the incident.
