I-Day: AAP to hold free medical camp, protests against RTI dilution
Bangalore, Aug 14: On the auspicious occasion of India's Independence Day, Aam Aadmi Party Karnataka is launching its health care team called, "Swasthya Jagriti Manch".
The mission of the team is to create awareness and provide medical counseling and care for the people of Karnataka. Being in public discourse, we see it as one of our responsibilities to work towards it. As its first mission, the team is conducting a free medical camp in HSR 7th Sector, Bommanahalli, Bangalore, starting at 08:30 AM on 15th August 2013.
Also, in AAP's view RTI is a tool to strengthen the democracy. AAP has gone one step further and instead of waiting for questions being asked, we have a policy of complete transparency whereby all our funds and its sources are voluntarily put in public domain. AAP strongly believes that this should be followed by all the political parties.

Further, continuing our fight against the proposed amendment to the RTI Act to exempt political parties from its ambit, Aam Aadmi Party (in association with other organizations) is holding a protest at Town Hall, Bangalore at 10:30 AM on August 15, 2013.
