Amritsar girl and family beaten up by gang of 11

Amritsar, March 29: Just days after a girl was gangraped in a moving car, another shocking incident has come to light in Amritsar. 11 people barged into the house of a 21 year old who they were stalking and beat up the girl and her family.

The entire family has been severely bruised in the incident.

According to Ram Singh, police commissioner the 'incident took place in the evening when the boys began passing vulgar comments on seeing the girl, who was returning home after attending tuition classes'.

The boys were stalking the girl after she finished tuition classes. The boys even followed her home. When her parents shouted at them, they 'manhandled' the girl and the rest of the family.

The 11 culrpits have been identified and booked under various sections of IPC.
