Nithyananda
Bangalore, Jun 13: It seems that there is no respite for the self-styled godman Nithyananda as he can not avert arrest if he visits his ashram in Bidadi, Bangalore on Thursday, Jun 14. Karnataka police will take him into their custody as the Karnataka High Court on Wednesday adjourned the hearing till Friday.

Lawyers of the godman moved the court on Tuesday to quash FIR against him but the court's decision of adjourning the hearing till Friday created more trouble for Nithyananda.

Earlier on Wednesday, a press release, which was issued by the disciples of Nithyananda, said that he will be back to his ashram on Thursday.

Police are still continuing their search for missing godman who has been accused in several cases such as - rape, sexual harassment, land encroachment.

Karnataka Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda ordered his arrest after a foreign national alleged that she was sexually abused at the hands of Nithyananda.

Reports reveal that the police recovered condoms, CDs and liquor during the raids at Nithyananda's Ashram in Bidadi.

Earlier, the self-styled godman stormed the world when a CD, which allegedly featured him with a South Indian actress in a compromising position, was broadcasted in TV news channels and the video went viral on internet.

Following the controversy, Nithyananda was arrested on Apr 21, 2010 from Himachal Pradesh and later granted bail on Jun 11, 2010. This time he is reportedly absconding.
