Iran threatens to halt oil export to more countries
The European countries include - Portugal, Italy, Germany, Spain, Netherlands and Greece.
"Certainly if the hostile actions of some European countries continue, the export of oil to these countries will be cut," the Oil Minister was quoted by the Al Arabiya network.
The National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) in a letter to the European oil refining companies asked them either to sign long term contracts for a period of two to five years or be refrained of supplies.
Meanwhile, oil prices hit a nine month high after Iran stopped its export to France and Britain, according to analysts.
