UP Polls: Priyanka Gandhi cracks whip on Mayawati

Lucknow, Feb 10: Congress secretary Rahul Gandhi's sister Priyanka Gandhi while campaigning in UP on Friday, Feb 10, slammed Mayawati government alleging that BSP government had wasted their money on statues and parks and not on development of the state..

"Public money is not for leaders, it is for common man. It is not for statues or parks. The UP government has looted the state...It is time to bring in change in Uttar Pradesh after 22 years," Priyanka said.

"Your vote will determine your future for the next five years. Strengthen the hands of Congress and bring it to power," she added.

Priyanka had reached Amethi with her two children Rehan and Miraya to campaign in the poll-bound Uttar Pradesh.

While addressing a meeting in Karhaiya Bazar area under Salon constituency, Priyanka said "Rahul is touring the state extensively for bringing in a change and he would definitely do it...there is a wind in favour of the Congress this time."
