Google to splash out ads to take on online privacy

Google
San Francisco, Jan 18: Web giant Google in a bid to tackle online privacy will now start rolling out advertisements.

Reports reveal that educational ads will now appear across dozens of newspapers and magazines in the US. Apart from billboards within the subways of Washington and New York, various websites will also flash across advertisements.

Issues like online privacy and security in the Good To Know ads will also be addressed by Google.

While critics feel that the search engine complies too much of personal data about its users and is not too cautious about protecting sensitive data, Google said that the initiative was a public service.
