Team Anna rejects security, beaten up brutally again

Meerut, Oct 21: Just days after Team Anna

security provided by the government, a group called Akhand Hindustan Morcha attacked the team in Meerut on Friday, Oct 21.

Police arrested four people including the president of the group, Satitanand Saraswati. The group attacked members of Team Anna when they (Team Anna) were supposed to attend a public gathering at the Gymkhana Grounds in the city.

According to sources, it was the same group which had attacked Anna Hazare's supporters outside Patiala Haouse in Delhi when trials over Prashant Bhushan's attackers were going on inside the court.

Here it can be recalled that prominent member of Team Anna, Supreme Court lawyer, Bhushan was beaten up by Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena activists inside his chamber over his statement on Kashmir.

Continuing the saga, another supporter of Anna, RTI activist, Arvind Kejriwal was also attacked with slipper by a man in Lucknow while Kejriwal was attending a public rally.
