Team Anna in danger, now Arvind Kejriwal attacked with shoe

Lucknow, Oct 18: It seems that Team Anna has suddenly been thrashed to experience public rage. After Prashant Bhushan, another close aide of Anna Hazare, Arvind Kejriwal has been attacked in a public meeting in Lucknow on Tuesday, Oct 18.

Kejriwal was attacked with a slipper. The assaulter of Arvind Kejriwal, Jitendra Pathak has been arrested. Team Anna, criticising the attempt of assault, demanded minute probe on the attack.

The attacker claimed that he did not have any personal rage against Kejriwal. Pathak said that he attacked as he was upset with Team Anna.

Here it can be recalled that Kejriwal, a RTI activist, recently held a press meet where he informed how he has been receiving threatening calls and letters.

Attack on Kejriwal was the second brutal attack on Team Anna members within last six days as another crucial member of the team, Prashant Bhushan was beaten up in his office in the Supreme Court. Bhushan was attacked over his controversial comment on Kashmir and the "azadi" of all Kashmiris.
