Bangalore: HAL director Baldev Singh commits suicide

Bangalore, Oct 11: Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) chief test pilot and director, Baldev Singh on Tuesday, Oct 11 committed suicide.

Squadron Leader (Rtd) Singh, who was a retired fighter pilot of the Indian Air Force (IAF), was found dead at the tourist spot, Nandi Hills.

Initial media reports claimed that it was a suicide case, however, reason for his death has not been clarified yet.

Singh's body was found at Nandi Hills at around 11 am on Tuesday. Nandi Hills is a popular tourist spot which is very near to Bangalore.
