Telangana: KCR to meet Prime Minister, President

New Delhi, Sept 30: Chandrashekar Rao, TRS Chief is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and President Pratibha Patil at 6 pm today, Sept 30.

The Telangana agitation which has entered its 18th day has affected all the 10 districts of the region and parts of Hyderabad over the last two weeks.

Ghulam Nabi Azad, the Congress state in charge is also expected to submit his report on Telangana to the party after a demand from the Telangana political Joint Action Committee (JAC) that the party give its take over the issue.

The JAC today called for a shut down in Hyderabad so that the centre be under pressure and take its decision for a separate state.
