Anna's aide Kiran Bedi compares herself with Mahatma Gandhi
Reminding about Bapu's stern criticism against the British government, Bedi from her Twitter account said, "Tweeple pl search and read Indian Home Rule or Hind Swaraj pages 27 carrying scathing views of Gandhiji on British Parliament."
The former IPS officer did not even spare Bapu's grand son Tushar Gandhi while tweeting that Mr Tushar Gandhi also should read Indian Home Rule or Hind Swaraj pages to enlighten himself.
Trying to defend her criticism of the MPs, Bedi also quoted Anna Hazare as saying, "@eldersforpeople which is why the outcry. Anna used to say 'Gore Chale Gaye aur Kale Reh Gaye (white people have left, but left behind the blacks)."
Earlier reports claimed that if found guilty of breach of privilege, Bedi can face up to 15 days in jail over her "Ghoonghat Act." Bedi had parodied politicians for "wearing masks", pulling a scarf over her head. But, the firebrand lady refused to apologise and tweeted, "Sorry no apology for being demonstratively a voice of public anguish. Prepared for any punishment."
