Kiran Bedi refuses to be apologetic for scathing remarks

After certain MPs moved privilege notices against both Kiran and Om Puri for the derogatory remarks they made on politicians, Om Puri seemed to regret the statements he made, but Bedi, the fire-brand refused to be apologetic about it.
Bedi has been quoted as saying on Twitter, "Sorry no apology for being demonstratively a voice of public anguish. Prepared for any punishment."
Standing her ground, Bedi had expressed openly through various television interviews that she was not regretful of her comments, with her 'ghoonghat' act creating a flurry of comments from various quarters.
The privilege notices against Bedi and Om Puri are under consideration of the Presiding officers of Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha. Bedi had earlier refused to comment on the breach of privilege motion and said that she was yet to receive any such notice and commented, "I will respond to it when I receive it. I have neither received nor been informed of it. I cannot go by news reports."
She had made explosive remarks on politicians at the Ramlila Maidan and accused them of wearing masks and acted on an impromptu mimicry using a scarf.
Om Puri, on the other hand, was quoted as saying in a TV interview, "I respect the parliament and the constitutional body. I am very proud to be an Indian. It was wrong on my part to use such terms. I wasn't drunk, I was just emotionally charged, such things do come from mouth.....even our politicians at times, in a fit of anger, use such things."
