Sri Sri allowed but Ramdev barred from meeting Anna at Tihar

New Delhi, Aug 17: Tihar jail officials on Wednesday, Aug 17 allowed Sri Sri Ravishankar and denied permission to Baba Ramdev to meet Anna Hazare inside the jail campus.

The spiritual guru, Ravishankar on Tuesday was not allowed to meet Anna and was forced to leave Tihar jail empty-handed. But on his second visit, Ravishankar was allowed to enter the jail premises to meet Anna.

However, Ramdev, who reached Delhi on Wednesday morning and submitted a memorandum to the president over Anna's arrest, has been denied permission to meet the Gandhian crusader inside the jail.

Anna, who had earlier denied release order and claimed to remain in the jail, is expected to come out from jail any time on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, government sources informed that Team Anna might be allowed to stage their fast protest at JP Park for the coming seven days.
