Anna in Tihar: Will Sri Sri Ravishankar take govt side?

New Delhi, Aug 17: Spiritual guru Sri Sri Ravishankar in the midnight of Tuesday, Aug 16 rushed to Tihar jail to meet Anna Hazare who continues his fast protest. With Sri Sri Ravishankar's visit to Tihar, many started speculating that will the spiritual guru once again take government's side and urge Anna to withdraw his hunger strike.

However, after reaching the jail, Sri Sri criticised the government's decision to arrest 74-year-old Anna and expressed his support for 'India Against Corruption' campaign.

Refusing to clarify his decision, Sri Sri only informed, "I have come here (Tihar jail) to meet Anna Hazare." Meanwhile, he expressed his rage against the government when he stated, "will any sane person say that it (Anna's arrest) was the right action?"

Taking a dig on the "double speak" government, the spiritual guru also claimed, "it is not good that one day Hazare is accused of corruption and the next day you say this is not good."

Here it can be recalled that Sri Sri earlier had played the communicator between the government and Baba Ramdev during the yoga guru's fast protest over black money issue.
