Bollywood filmmaker in trouble over remarks on Rajiv Gandhi
A petition was submitted against the film maker by congress regional leader Raghunandan Singh and Pramod Tandon, City Congress chief to Kapil Mehta, Chief Judicial Magistrate.
The petition will be heard on Aug 29 and will be transferred to Judicial Magistrate, O P Bohra.
The petition blames Pandit of making defamatory comments against Rajiv Gandhi and injecting communal feelings. A police complaint was also filed against the filmmaker by Congress.
Meanwhile, seventy two congressmen including three MLAs were taken into police custody after they protested against Pandit on Aug 7.
