Will nudity back PM Vladimir Putin in Russia?

London, Jul 19: During Soviet era in Russia, nudity was completely banned in any kind of advertising. But citing some recent activities online in the country, it seems that nudity may soon be back to the country.

An online campaign to support Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in the upcoming 2012 presidential election has been surged its head in the country. The campaign urged young Russian girls to put off their clothes to show their support for Putin.

The girls have been tempted with iPad2 to strip for Putin. A video posted by the website shows a student screaming in a Moscow road saying, "I will tear my clothes off for Putin."

During 2000-2008, Putin was the president of Russia before handing over power to Dmitry Medvedev.
