Diplomacy: Pakistan wants Kashmir, what is India's response?

A statement from the Pakistani foreign ministry said, "Jammu and Kashmir is the core issue and it was imperative to address this issue effectively and in a purposeful manner in the forthcoming dialogue with India."
Despite Pakistan's open revelation to proceed with dialogues on Kashmir, India has not yet declared its stance. However, sources claim that the two nations may resume talks with the long disputed issue - Jammu Kashmir.
Security at the border, terrorism are believed to be the other top priorities during the upcoming meeting between Pakistani foreign secretary Salman Bashir and his Indian counterpart Nirupama Rao.
Pakistan's Dawn News has reported that Islamabad wanted to resume talks on Jun 24-25, though official confirmation is yet to come.
