Someone wants to kill PM & Vajpayee? Security beefed up!

New Delhi, May 5: Security of the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee have been beefed up suddenly as an anonymous threat call hit the Delhi police on Wednesday, May 4.

Delhi Police sources informed that they received a threatening call which claimed to kill the PM and Vajpayee. However, a minute search has been conducted to locate the unknown caller.

Initial investigation revealed that the call was made from a mobile phone and the number was traced to be active in Ghaziabad. Though the investigating team's first finding went in vain as the SIM card, which was registered on the name of Ram Avatar residing in Ghaziabad's Sanjay Nagar, was found as fake.

Manmohan Singh is expected to reach Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday, May 5 to pay his last tribute to late Chief Minister of the state - Dorjee Khandu.
