Eradication of corruption tops priority list of JK govt: Omar
Jammu, Feb 26 (PTI) Eradication of corruption tops thelist of priorities of the Jammu and Kashmir government, ChiefMinister Omar Abdullah said here today.
"My first target is smaller corruptions in the form ofbribes for ration cards, driving licenses, state subjects,mutation and land papers, death and birth certificates,registration of vehicles," Omar said an interaction session atJammu University.
"Corruption is a two-way traffic. While my government isdetermined to book the receiver, public should also stopgiving bribes to get works done," he said.
In reply to a query, he said the government alone cannotabsorb the huge number of unemployed in the state, thereforethe youths should go for entrepreneurship.
