Tata to introduce BS IV variant of Indica soon

Chennai, Feb 25 (PTI) Auto major Tata Motors today saidit would soon introduce the BS IV variant of its popularhatchback Indica.

Claiming the new variant would become the company''s "mostfuel efficient" car, Tata Motors in a statement said the newengine in the Indica packs a 32 per cent increase in power,alongwith a 46 per cent improvement in fuel efficiency.

The engine revs up to 70 PS power at 4,000 RPM anddelivers 140 Nm torque to make it more peppy and responsive,it said.

The New Indica would also offer fresh exterior andinterior looks and features, the statement added.

Tata Motors launched the Indica V2 Turbomax with BS IVcompliant engine in August, 2010.
