Woman, paramour arrested for killing father-in-law

Ghaziabad, Feb 17 (PTI) A woman, allegedly involved inthe killing of her father-in-law, was today arrested here withher paramour and three other accomplices, police said.

The victim Hanif was allegedly killed by Kamar Jahanand her paramour Riyazul with the help three others earlierthis month after the woman''s father-in-law opposed to theirrelationship, police said, adding that the body and the murderweapon were recovered on February 12 from Ganga Canal here.

Authorities said the duo conspired to kill Haneef andwith the help of Rashid, Nadim and Khilafat they murdered himby slitting his throat near Ganga Canal. Riyazul had allegedlypaid Rs 30,000 each to the three accomplices.

Police lodged FIR on the complaint of victim''s familyand arrested them today, however Jahan was granted bail as sheis pregnant.
