Company owner arrested for abatement of suicide of employee

Surat, Feb 14 (PTI) An owner of a software firm hasbeen arrested in connection with suicide of a softwareengineer who used to work for his company, police said today.

One Jignesh Shah, partner in a software companyEnovera was arrested today and charged for abatement ofsuicide after his employee Vipul Baraiya (28) hanged himselfto death yesterday, they said.

According to police, Shah was arrested followinginvestigation into the allegation made by Baraiya in hissuicide note.

In the suicide note, Baraiya had alleged two of hisemployers of subjecting him to mental harassment and falselyimplicating him in data theft case.

Another partner of the firm Mickey Shah, whose namealso figures in Baraiya''s suicide note was yet to bequestioned, police said.
