Pak govt. to ensure implementation of court order on Musharraf: Awan
Lahore, Feb 13(ANI): Pakistan Law Minister Babar Awan on Sunday said that the government will ensure the implementation of a court order on former President Pervez Musharraf.
"Nobody can pressurize the government on such issues," the Dawn quoted Awan, as saying.
Awan's comment comes after Musharraf's London spokesman said that the former President will not comply with a non-bailable arrest warrant issued against him by an Islamabad court over the assassination of ex-Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.
Earlier, on Saturday, a Pakistani Anti-Terrorism Court had ordered Musharraf, who is currently in a self-imposed exile in London, to appear for a hearing on February 19 in the Benazir Bhutto assassination case. (ANI)
