Two killed, fourteen injured in road mishap

Bijnor (UP), Feb 9 (PTI) Two persons were killed andfourteen others injured when a minibus in which they weretravelling in overturned here, police said today.

The accident occurred yesterday when an overloadedminibus skidded off near village Dharampur on Bijnor-Moradabadroad.

One of the two victims Rajneesh (26) died on the spotwhile Ashok Kumar(30) succumbed to injuries at a districthospital last night, they said.

Seriously injured passengers have been shifted to thedistrict hospital while rest are being treated at a PrimaryHealth Centre in Haldaur.

The driver and the conductor of the minibus fled thescene after the incident.
