Zed urges Hindus to take Vasant Panchami vow to help a needy child in education

Nevada (US), Jan 31 (ANI): Distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, sending early Vasant Panchami greetings to one billion Hindus of the world, has urged them each to take a vow of helping a needy child to meet his/her educational goals on this sacred occasion.

Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, in a release in Nevada (USA) today, wished that goddess Saraswati blessed all on Vasant Panchami, which falls on February eight.

Rajan Zed quoted ancient Hindu scripture Bhagavad-Gita (Song of the Lord): Do your work with the well-being of others always in focus......by dedication to selfless work one achieves the highest goal.

Zed also advised Hindus to focus on inner search, stay pure, explore the vast wisdom of scriptures, make spirituality more attractive to youth and children, stay away from the greed, and always keep God in your life.

Vasant Panchami celebrates Saraswati; who is revered as goddess of knowledge/learning, music, art, language/speech, and poetry.

Hinduism is oldest and third largest religion of the world and moksh (liberation) is its ultimate goal. (ANI)
