CM to expose alleged land scams of Gowda at national level

Haveri (Karna), Jan 15 (PTI) In a virtual tit-for-tat,Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today said he wouldexpose "land scams" involving JD(S) chief H D Deve Gowda andhis son during their tenure at the helm of state affairs.

"Within two weeks, I will write to President PratibhaPatil and Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar detailing the scandalsthat took place during the tenure of Deve Gowda and his son HD Kumaraswamy as Chief Ministers of the state", saidYeddyurappa whose government has come under attack by JD(S)over alleged land scams and corruption.

Gowda had recently released a book over alleged land scamsof Yeddyurappa government and distributed it among politicalleaders in Delhi.

"Congress and JD(S) have combined together to malign mygovernment and have been making baseless allegations,"Yeddyurappa said.

Kumaraswamy had over the past few months released severaldocuments on land denotification and land allotments allegedlyordered by Yeddyurappa favouring his family members includinghis sons and son-in-law.
