New born girl child found in dustbin

Erode, Jan 15 (PTI) A new born girl child was foundin a dust bin here, police said here today.

Though the locals rushed the baby to hospital yesterday,the doctors said the child was brought dead, official sourcessaid.

According to police, a waste paper picker in Kallukadaimeduhere noticed a woman throwing a plastic bag into the dustbin.

When he rushed to the bin, he noticed a just born baby girlcovered with cloth kept in a plastic bag.

He informed the locals and took the baby to a privatehospital. However the doctors said it was brought dead, policesaid. PTI
