Chinese Premier Jiabao arrives in Pakistan on three-day visit
Islamabad, Dec 17 (ANI): Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao arrived in Pakistan today on a three-day official visit aimed at boosting Sino-Pak commercial ties.
Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani personally received his Chinese counterpart at the airport, Geo News reported.
Dozens of chief executives of companies and 150 business leaders are accompanying the Chinese premier.
The visit will be a unique opportunity for the two countries to enhance their trade and commercial ties, as many commercial deals will be signed during the visit.
It is noteworthy that upto 20-billion-dollar worth of projects with Chinese help have been completed in Pakistan.
Work on projects of 14 billion dollars is continuing at present, while projects of another 20 billion dollars are expected to be signed between the two sides.
Jiabao will also address the joint session of the parliament, which will be followed by his interaction with the media personnel. (ANI)
