HM gives nod to case against Syed Ali Shah Geelani

New Delhi, Oct 24: A case can be registered against the Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Shah Geelani and others for giving hate speeches at a convention 'Azadi-The Only Way', held at New Delhi, on Oct 21.

Sources from the Union Home Ministry said that the Union Home Ministry has advised Delhi Police to register a case against Syed Ali Shah Geelani and few others and the case is expected to be registered soon.

At present separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani is in Kashmir.

Earlier, Senior BJP leader Arun Jaitley slammed the government for allowing Kashmiri separatists to make anti-India speeches and said freedom of speech too has constitutional limits.
