Jharkhand police nab top Maoist leader from Chaibasa

Chaibasa (Jharkhand), Oct.10 (ANI): Jharkhand police on Sunday arrested a top Maoist leader in Jharkhand's Chaibasa town.

Nalla Bhikshapati, a member of the central technical committee of the Maoists, is an expert in making mortars and bombs.

"Nalla Bhikshapati alias Madhav, alias Ravi, alias Subhas. He has been associated with the Maoist organisation since 1991. He had been to Hyderabad jail," said Arun Kumar Singh, Superintendent of Police, Dumka.

"He has given training to make high explosive bombs, rocket launcher and mortar in states such as Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand and Orissa," he added. (ANI)
