JK Rowling sparks hope for more Harry Potter books in future
London, Oct 2(ANI): A ray of hope for die-hard Harry Potter fans - J.K. Rowling has said that there could be more Harry potter books as she felt bereaved after completing the seventh and final book, 'Harry potter and the Deathly Hallows'.
The best-selling author made the above revelation during a taping in Edinburgh for an episode of 'The Oprah Winfrey Show.'
Rowling said although she was stunned by the overwhelming success of the books, she would miss being consumed by the surreal world and has the future of the characters already mapped out in her head.
'I could definitely write an eighth, ninth and tenth. I'm not going to say I won't. I don't think I will. I feel I am done, but you never know," the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.
In her first ever interview with US chat show queen, the author opened up about the emotional 17-year journey spent writing the Potter books, which has been translated into 69 languages and published in more than 200 countries. (ANI)
