After unrest violence, JK returns to normal life

Sources said shops, business establishments and private offices were opened in the morning while public transport ply on all routes of the Valley.
However, schools and government offices remained closed on account of Gandhi Jayanti.
Hardline Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani said he has decided to withdraw the scheduled protest so that people of the Valley get some relief.
Kashmir Valley has been in a grip of violent protests since Jun 11 when a 17-year-old boy was killed during clashes at Rajouri Kadal in interior city.
