Trio rearrested over Indian millionaire Muthuraja's death
Kuala Lumpur, Sept 26 (ANI): In the latest development in the disappearance of Indian millionaire A. Muthuraja, a lawyer, his brother and another suspect, whose remand order ended on Saturday, have been rearrested.
The trio is expected to be brought to the remand centre in Bukit Jalil on Sunday, said Federal CID deputy director Deputy Comm Hadi Ho Abdullah.
According to The Star, the disappearance of Muthuraja has been linked to the three who are implicated in the murder of cosmetics tycoon Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya and three others.
Muthuraja's second wife S. Usharani lodged a report about his disappearance at the Banting police station two weeks ago.
Two of the suspects were being brought to the magistrate's court in Sepang yesterday for a remand order in connection with the murder of Muthuraja.
The lawyer, his brother and the third suspect were previously remanded for 14 days in connection with the killing of Sosilawati, her driver Kamaruddin Shamsuddin, lawyer Ahmad Kamil Abdul Karim, and CIMB bank officer Noorhisham Mohammad. (ANI)
