Pak leader Imran Farooq stabbed to death in London

London, Sep 17: A senior Pakistani politician of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) party, Imran Farooq, who was very popular in the country, was stabbed to death in outside his residence in London on Thursday, Sep 16.

After Pakistani police accused Farooq of involvement in cases of murder and other serious crimes for more than seven years, he claimed asylum in Britain 11 years ago in 1999.

However, British police did not confirm Farooq's identity but said a 50-year-old man suffered several wounds to death.

The British policeman informed that they have not taken anyone under their custody yet.
