Nitish Kumar upset over allotment of front seat for Lalu Prasad in Parliament
Patna/New Delhi, Sep 14 (ANI): Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar questioned the logic behind the Congress party allotting a front seat in Lok Sabha to RJD chief Lalu Prasad.
His outburst at the Congress party and the RJD pepped up the war of words ahead of the elections to the state legislature.
"I asked this question five days ago also as to what is the reason and how did a leader of a four-member party, who is not a former Prime Minister also, got a seat in the first row in the Lok Sabha. I asked this to Congress and Laluji as well. If this is not collusion, then what is it?" said Kumar.
He further said that the people of Bihar would not elect the RJD since they had suffered under his rule in the past.
"There is no chance for Laluji. Whatever he may say now, the people of Bihar are not going to elect him this time at all. They have already suffered once. The work done earlier in the Railways, he has taken advantage of that; if he was so capable, he could had done something for Bihar as well," he added.
He also asked Congress to explain whether there was any guarantee that it would not join hands with RJD after the elections.
Congress had contested the assembly polls in 2000 alone but later all its legislators were made ministers in the RJD-led government, Kumar said.
However, Lalu Prasad claimed that Nitish and the BJP have joined hands secretly. (ANI)
