The Adani Foundation allies with Andhra Pradesh's P4 programme in Kuppam to uplift Bangaru Kutumbams. The initiative provides livelihood assets, mentoring, and financial literacy to 29 Gram Panchayats, aiming to create sustainable, locally driven income opportunities with APMAS.

The initiative, titled "Transforming Lives Together: A P4 Model for Holistic Progress of Bangaru Kutumbams in Kuppam Mandal," will cover all 29 Gram Panchayats and urban clusters in the mandal. It will be implemented in partnership with the Andhra Pradesh Mahila Abhivruddhi Society (APMAS).

During the launch event in Kuppam, his Assembly constituency, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu distributed livelihood assets, including sewing machines, portable welding kits, and embroidery machines, to beneficiaries under the programme. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister lauded the Adani Foundation for its contribution to the state's poverty alleviation efforts.

"I congratulate the Adani Foundation for its commitment to strengthening leadership and promoting sustainable livelihoods for Bangaru Kutumbams. This initiative reflects the true spirit of the Government's P4 Zero Poverty Initiative and demonstrates shared social responsibility for inclusive development," Naidu said.

In a message released on the occasion, Dr. Priti Adani, Chairperson of the Adani Foundation, said the initiative aims to empower families by creating sustainable livelihood opportunities. "Lasting progress begins at the household level. When families have access to the right opportunities, support and confidence, they can build sustainable livelihoods that benefit future generations. Our partnership with the Andhra Pradesh government under the P4 initiative reflects our shared commitment to helping Bangaru Kutumbams become more self-reliant," she said.

Under the programme, beneficiary families will receive livelihood assets tailored to their skills and local market demand. These include support for kirana stores, livestock, sewing units, and other micro-enterprises designed to generate sustainable incomes.

Each participating household will also be mentored by Bangaru Mitras, trained community facilitators who will assist beneficiaries in preparing business plans, improving financial literacy, developing enterprises, and accessing relevant government welfare schemes.

According to the Foundation, the programme combines enterprise development, community mentoring, and welfare linkages to create a scalable model for poverty reduction that aligns with the Andhra Pradesh government's vision of achieving zero poverty through locally driven solutions.

The Adani Foundation currently works across nearly 150 villages in Andhra Pradesh in areas such as education, health and nutrition, sustainable livelihoods, climate action, and community development. Across India, the Foundation operates in over 7,200 villages and urban wards across 22 states, reaching more than 13 million people through its development initiatives.
