Terrorists kill 2 villagers in Jammu Kashmir

Jammu, Aug 19: Militants killed two villagers in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, Aug 18.

The two villagers, Javed Ahmad and Nanak Chand, were shot dead by the militants in Kousar Nagar. Police recovered their bodies. Police officials told that the attack was a part of the renewed campaign of the militants to inject fear among the people, particularly in remote areas.

"We are trying to find out more details. Reasi district"s upper reaches have a ample presence of militants belonging to Hizbul Mujahideen and Lashkar-e-Taiba. Terrorists try to create fear among the villagers," said a police official.
